I feel like this class has made me experience parts of my body that hadn’t had much attention in a long time. I feel more aware of how I hold my body while sitting in a chair, while driving my car, or standing. I used to slouch more!
I loved this lesson. My movement felt very graceful and afterwards it felt very graceful and when I was walking it felt effortless. Before the lesson, I was very tense and my leg and spine were hurting quite badly.
I felt much more flexible and my sciatica pain was much lessened after the lesson. Walking around and up the hill , it did not hurt. I felt much looser, like my joints had been ‘oiled.’
The edges are gone. I feel more like a slinky when I walk.
I have arthritis in my ankles. After the lesson, the pain disappeared so that I walked for about an hour without any pain. This lesson also helped me with my lower back pain.
I am a very physical person and this method has helped me in being more in my body as I dance, run, and do my job as a massage therapist.
Thank you for a wonderful semester of Feldenkrais! I learned a lot about how to dance more deeply and to just trust my body to move more effortlessly.
